Hi, I’m Emily!
I'm a designer who believes great design should make things easier to understand, easier to use, and more enjoyable to experience.

The origin story: a love for Business & creative problem solving

I've always loved creating and building. The spark started at 16, when I opened an Etsy shop and started selling my art. It's been driving me ever since.
My design journey started with physical product design, where I fell hard for problem-solving and the "whys" behind everything. Why something works, why people use it the way they do, I bring that same curiosity to every digital experience I build today.
In my last year of school, I found my way into UI/UX through a few internships and started teaching myself front-end development. That was the gateway into website design and it's exactly where I've belonged ever since.

My philosophy
A website should do more than look good. Aesthetics matter, don't get me wrong, but design adds clarity and context to things that just "look nice."

My background
My design background taught me to think about how people actually use things, not just the way they look. That's still how I approach every design project.

Offline
When I'm not working, I'm probably at a coffee shop, training for my next powerlifting meet, or bouncing between three different workspaces because I can't sit still for too long.
